BR Properties is a wholly owned subsidiary of Botswana Railways which came into existence in 2007 as a result of the revision of the Botswana Railways Act, which allowed for commercialization of its land and other properties. BR Properties was established to exploit Botswana Railways’ prime land along commercial lines by partnering with the private sector, individuals and public institutions and/or organizations and to effectively manage the existing property portfolio by maintaining and developing the property for occupation and renting.
